Port Stephens Fisheries Institute to receive $5.6m to upgrade hatchery facilities
With the state budget looming on Tuesday 19th June, the NSW Government has announced $50m to upgrade DPI's agricultural research stations. $5.6m of this will be directed to the Port Stephens Fisheries Institute to refurbish the oyster hatchery facilities, and to scale-up (triple!) kingfish production.
