AMSA - Exemption 38 (Low Complexity Dutires) Training Courses
OceanWatch Australia, NSW Farmers Association & NSW Fishing Industry Training Committee are pleased to offer 8 x FREE Exemption 38 training courses especially for NSW oyster farmers.
To operate commercial vessels under 12m in length, an Exemption 38 is the minimum crewing requirement specified under the AMSA – Domestic Commercial Vessel National Law. Exemption 38 allows you to perform a range of low complexity duties during daylight hours. Find out more about Exemption 38 here. Courses run for 4 days, incorporate a practical component, and can accommodate a maximum of 13 people per course. These units can also count towards a Coxswains ticket if you wish to upgrade your maritime qualification at a later date. Click here, or on the image to check course dates.
